Thank you so very, very much for the birthday greetings!!!
I had a nice little "party-into" (where we even discussed that there is no real english word for "reinfeiern"..) that I just got back from.
Amsterdam is for year. I can't believe its almost precisely one ear that we all graduated from Jacobs.
Radhika showed me a link you had posted to a lecture you delivered for the cyber emotions project and listening to it was really like sitting in a lecture in research IV on Friday morning :) , so nice!!
Last week I worked at a conference for the Vrije University on ADHD, and since march, I am doing a full time research project in an fMRI study on obesity as "food addiction" at the medical center. Its really great because I am learning all the fMRI (pre-)processing and analyses and I am enjoying it a lot.

Great blog Arvid! I'll be following it. I hope more emotion researchers follow your lead and post blogs. It would be easy to underestimate/forget how valuable your experience is to newbie researchers like myself.
